now that's a ticking time bomb

and something I think we all have a duty to address in any way we can, in the same way we have focused on other disadvantaged sections of society.

We need a dramatic shift in national policy and attitudes, I'd say a more socialist approach but that has too many political connotations and Tombs will be calling for that politics filter before too long. More a recognition that we need greater investment in youth, education, opportunities, jobs (and yes, that does mean higher taxes on those of us who won't directly benefit).
