of winning the fa cup is to get promotion, grab the money, improve the squad. As you and lowerstoft say, the truth is, the money has kind of ruined it as a competition. The footy pyramid is much like the banking one, which of course those in dark suits, who have nothing to do with footy but everything to do with the business of making money from footy love so much.
