I’d add that

While Peter Dinklage is an excellent actor, he is pretty much THE poster boy dwarf and doesn’t really physically resemble the Tyrion as described in the books. The scarring after the battle where everything blows up is a case in point. Doesn’t he lose his nose in the books but gets little more than a manly facial graze in the show?

Love him though. And totally agree about JS being miscast.
