Its amazing really that I think most of us would say we played quite poorly and yet we still created 4 or 5 very good goal scoring opportunities, hit the post and had a number of other good sit-u-a-shuns. I think we slightly take it for granted these days because we have so many attempts at goal but in seasons gone by we would often create nothing of note in an entire 90 minutes away from home.
Vrancic at the start, Onel's cut back for Cantwell, the pen that was stonewall, Vrancic hitting the post, Trybull's shot from which its debatable whether Rhodes was offside (although possibly less debatable whether he handballed it) and Srbenny with that shot at the end. in fact given Krul's save following the overhead kick was so obviously offside you could legitimately argue that we had the better chances in that game despite it not really feeling like it at the time.
I think i'm finally over that Derby defeat because although we weren't great yesterday in the words of a once great man who is now an uber c**t we "didn't get beat" and we kept going and that has restored my faith that this team has what it takes to stick around at the top of the table.
