Park near the Pier Hotel (fabulous, reasonably priced beers there and the New Entertainer pub in particular just round the corner). Walk the length of the prom then onto the beach behind or in front of the barriers. Gorgeous sand cliffs and rock cliffs on the way to Hopton - I prefer to do this walk in foggy, windy weather but it works well in rain and of course in sunshine too. Then come up at Hopton or Corton and walk back - don't go along the road go through the golf course path bit. You'll come back on top of the prom (so walk out on the lower tier or the beach - I like to go right by the sea but I'm a bit odd). Pub in Hopton is OK but Gorleston pubs better.
