er, the solution like most things is blindingly obvious:

simply connect all four appliances sequentially; so connect your sky box to your tv via a hdmi lead then connect your tv to your (forgive the presumption) to your XBox via a hdmi lead and then connect your XBox to your (forgive the presumption) flux capacitor via a hdmi lead and then hey pesto! you are connected. this is known in the industry as daisy chaining, i recommend you google it up on the images for verification porpoises. viel gluck.
