Lucky that Webber appears to have recruited well, lucky that Aarons, Cabtwell and Lewis have come through when they have and more than anything lucky that Maddison suddenly had the season he did which enabled us to absorb the losses without too much damage to the squad.

We have a great team this season with every chance of going up and achieving financial security again in the process but don’t kid yourself that we can repeat this year on year whilst “self funding.” We won’t.
