the meeting was quite good actually - wide representation of people including lots of older folk (who, like someone further down the board, I assumed to be 'Inners'). But there were some cracking points made and most were articulated very well, although there were some comedy moments..
1. The young lady who got very tired and emotional about what she saw as personal abuse of worthy (her Dad said "You're walking home" to her)
2. The young teenage girl who said something along the lines of...
"It's like, so, oh my god, just not good enough, I agree he's been so, like lucky. We're just, like, not good enough"
3. The old boy and his attitude to foreigners (from another century)
4. The stuttery man, not in any personal, horrible way, but just because it was so bizarre.
etc etc.
All in all - quite good and shows the Club and Skippy that it is not just gobby chavs jumping on the bandwagon but a wide range of people who are concerned about:
The awful football we are playing
The strange substitutions
Criticising our players for showing a bit of flair
Not bringing in the youngsters
Leaving players who should be playing on the bench
Lack of midfield
Sitting back and defending too deep
The weird signings
Our mentality when we were in the Prem (we will be overjoyed to finish 17th - look at West Ham and Wigan ffs!)
etc etc, you know the list, but all were mentioned and whilst I don't think it will necessarily achieve anything specific, I think that when NCISA present the views aired the Club are going to have to face up to the fact that there is a groundswell of opinion regarding what wwe are having to watch week in, week out.
