We tried that tactic but its lead to him assuming all santas are fake

and he seems very comfortable to tell us that he knows they're not real around other young children. He senses the power to shock that his words have and I think we might need to either hire a bearded elderly portly gent to clamber around our fireplace for a couple of hours on Tuesday to reinvigorate the belief.
