As I write the U18s are playing at Port Vale in Rd of the FA Yoot Cup.
After 81 mins City have a 2-1 lead, courtesy of Milovanovic & Vaughan.

This happy situ is a contrast to much of this season, so far.
The U18s lost at Newcastle last Saturday, 1-2, in the PL League Cup. In a clear attempt to form a team-bond for tonight Adam Idah was parachuted back into the side, and he was the scorer of the City goal.

Two days later the U23s made the same, long journey to the NE. Again the score was 2-1 to Newcastle, Power on target for City this time. The home side contained 4 players with 1st-team experience, while the City line-up was youthful and in-experienced.
