I mean, horses for courses, separation of art and artist is a subjective matter, everyone's going to bring their own nuance (huh, looks a bit like nonce) to it, and there's no correct answer. But it's a bit grimy isn't it? Like, The Usual Suspects is a masterpiece, for a number of reasons, and I'll watch it again for sure, but I'd understand people not being able to put the noncing to one side and separate the man from his work.
I wouldn't have him as a babysitter, mind.
