the U18s drew 3-3 with Leicester (after being three-up at HT). Isak Thorvaldsson got a brace with Tyrse Omotoye the other.
This was followed by a 4-1 loss at Southampton (the club formerly known as organised & successful) Southampton (Omotoye)

It should be noted that around 1/3rd of the squad look to be currently unavailable for selection (injury / promotion to U23)

On Weds next week (12th) City begin their FA Youth Cup campaign, at Port Vale. It will be interesting to see if Idah & others are 'relegated' to the group for this competition.

Meanwhile the Development Squad/U23 played Nottm F, in their third PL Lge Cup tie, going down 0-1 Hanley & Pinto played the full 90, but City's 'keeper crisis was demonstrated by the presence of a 'trialist' on the bench.
