If no particular deal can command majority support.

It was fairly tight first time, more detail is now known and ultimately it’s a democratic vote so don’t see that it undermines democracy. We didn’t say the same when we had two general elections in quick succession. If there is another vote and leave wins then that certainly seals it. If remain wins then yes there will be some uproar but most will probably just be grateful for the status quo and to move on.
