We have arrived at Colney Training Centre where members of the media have started to arrive for Daniel Farke's press conference ahead of tomorrow's game against Rotherham United.
---------------------------------------------------------------
DF: The mood is good, directly after the game we were all a bit disappointed in the dressing room because we did enough to win the game. We were the better side with the better chances. But it was a good point to win, a tough place to go and a tough opposition. We know we are in good shape and we are all in a good mood.
DF: It was a golden chance for Tom [Trybull], he was a bit disappointed he was not able to use the chance but we have missed other goals and I was pleased he was able to be in the box and create chances. He was there with a solid performance.
DF: We have to play without Mortiz Leitner tomorrow. He has a small injury in his calf. But we hope he is back for Bolton next week. We hope he can join us in the middle of next week in training. Mortiz is crucial for our games but you sometimes have to handle that important players are out. It's just important that is it not an injury which will last four or five months, just two or three games.
DF: I would have preferred to have go further on with the seventh win in the row and I didn't get the feeling that we needed to focus. It has been deserved that we have been praised, i didn't get the feeling that the players had lost the ground beneath their feet. But it's important that we go further on disciplined and concentrated, and that is what we will try to do tomorrow.
DF: Everyone is extra motivated to beat the league leaders, but that's what you have to face when you are in this position. But we prefer this situation rather than being in a position where we are fighting relegation. Each and every match is a good opportunity to win points and improve and protect your position in the leage. A home game is easier than an away game, but the record of Rotherham shows it will be a tough game and we will have to be at our best to win the points.
DF: I expect similar behaviour of the opponent. Hull was concentrated on protecting their own goal and it was difficult, especially on the pitch to create an unbelievable amount of chances. Rotherham will also be desperate to protect their own goal, to close the centre and make it difficult for us. It will be important to be really brutal and effective in using our chances.
DF: We were a bit concerned about Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia because they both got a hit, but they are ok and available. Sadly we have to do without Onel Hernandez, he got a pull on his hamstring and will be unavailable. We have to wait to scan it, we will get the correct diagnosis tomorrow. I don't think it's a big thing but he wasn't able to sprint. It could the same time as Moritz, between eight days and two weeks. There is hope for Onel for the Bolton game.
DF: Grant Hanley will get some minutes tonight with the Under-23s. It's important for him to get a feeling again for the game and in the centre-back posititon we have good options so there is no need to force it too much with Grant.
DF: Sometimes Matt [Jarvis] is able to train with us but sometimes we have to slow the load down. we have to be careful with that so we have decided not to give him minutes tonight.
DF: I was a bit concerned for Max [Aarons]. I spoke to him before the game and I said play concentrated and focused and if there is a booking we will accept it. Don't be scared of a booking just play your normal style. Pretty early in the game there was a tackle and referee spoke to him but it was also sign of his quality that he was able to go further on and last 75 minutes.
DF: We don't speak about being tired, I tell them they are in unbelievable shape and they can go on. But sometimes you have to think about a few changes. To change a few positions makes sense, perhaps not in the first or second game after international break, but right now it's the third game in seven days. So there may be two or three changes.
DF: Big compliments to Paul [Warne], seven games unbeaten on this level shows how concentrated they are working. They are full of confidence because they got use to winning games last season. It's a team which has a big fighting spirit and they don't get nervous when they are behind. We are respectful but we also know we are on a decent run and in good shape.
DF: Although he is a Norwich fan [Paul Warne] I think he will be highly motivated to be there with a result for his team. Quality is defined by performances in the long team and when you are able to get promoted with your team you have done a good job and big, big compliments.
DF: I'm not too concerned [about the January transfer window] because I know our financial situation is better and we are in a really good position in the league and we want to go further on. I know there is no guarantee [we won't sell players] but it was good that Stuart [Webber] made it clear [at the Annual General Meeting] that there is no pressure.
