My dog did that when my uncle in Wells had him whilst we were away on holiday!

He was the village copper and took him & his dog for a quick walk on the beach before due on duty.
He said it was a nightmare to get the blubber out of his fur, what with it obviously being designed to be water repellent. Stank the whole village out on the walk back to the police house apparently 😂
