Press news in...

We have arrived at Colney Training Centre where Head Coach Daniel Farke will soon be speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's game against Swansea City.

----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: We are really happy with the [Tampa Bay] trip. It was a commercial trip to work on our brand and reputation with our partners. We managed it in the perfect way and found a really good balance with working in Tampa and also some time off for the lads for team bonding. To be able to train for a week in the sun in Florida was nice, it's nice to be able in the cold period to have a different surrounding and I think that helped. There was a good spirit and a good mood and the players were happy with the trip.

DF: There are no concerns, all of the international players returned back pretty early this time. Everyone seems to be OK and in a good mood. Jamal [Lewis] was struggling with some slight hamstring problems in the last few weeks and thank god he was rested in the last international game to help sort things out and he has come back feeling fine.
I'm really happy for Timm [Klose] because he had to wait pretty long to be in the starting line-up. To turn the game is brilliant and we spoke a bit about the feeling after the game and he was delighted. It's well deserved because he is always there with a good attitude and wants to improve his game and our game.

DF: Grant Hanley has been back in team training for nearly three weeks now. We have decided today to give him some game time with the Under-23s. All of our centre backs have been there with really good performances, so it's good for him to have some game time as he has been out for almost three months. He is back to fitness which is good but needs some time to get used to the space and making the right decisions. It's a good feeling to have Grant back as an option.

DF: After training Ben Marshall felt his hamstring was a bit tight, but he is back now and will be travelling with us tomorrow. Todd Cantwell is also available for tomorrow and we will make a late decision on him.

DF: In Tampa Matt Jarvis did nearly all our training but he needs to rest a bit more. It's good he is back in training and would be good for him to have some minutes and hopefully we can pretty soon. Kenny McLean is working on the pitch with change of direction and some small light technical exercises with the ball but will still be a few weeks until he is back in team training.

DF: It's always good when you are in this position that there is a break so you can enjoy the feeling for two weeks and get the recognition that we really deserve. We are the league leaders at the moment and the lads deserve applause. We need to start with the same committment and quality. It's a bit difficult when lads are away to get back in the rhythm, but we have done it before. Swansea is a tough place to go and to do this after a short break is even more difficult. It will be a difficult task but we want to go on with good performances.

DF: It's important to enjoy it and take lots of self confidence out of it. We want to be in the position where people are excited about our game. But it's important not to fall asleep and work further on with the same desire. We are in this position because we work hard each and everyday and we have to be really focussed. We are trying to focus our players to be there each and every day full of desire and commitment and that's what we have to do tomorrow as well.

DF: I trust my players and trust that they are able to train in such a situation. We have some really experienced players and they know there are 29 games to go and everything could happen. It's important that we can take lots of self confidence out of this and in the last games we were able to turn it after being behind. The opponents know you can never right us off and that is good for the feeling. We have to work hard for each and every point.

DF: I have never met Graham Potter so I am looking forward to that and am full of respect for his work. I like the way they place in terms of dominating the game and they have really good possession. They are pretty flexible in the style of their play. They are in form and are pretty close to the play off ranks.

DF: I think they still have a squad full of quality players and potential but it's always difficult the first season after relegation as people expect a quick return to the Premier League. I think Graham [Potter] s doing an outstanding job in order to organise the team and bring his philosophy to the players. I know it's not an easy job when you take over in a difficult situation.

DF: It's always nice to have such a meeting [AGM] when you are top of the league. You could feel the mood, spirit and the unity. The last three years were difficult for the club because fans were not pleased with how it was going on the pitch. But when you are sitting in the top position people are proud and more confident.

DF: Alex Tettey is an outstanding character and it's always a good sign when you can improve even you are an older age. He can be a role model for each and every player.
It's important you want to improve in each and every moment and we always speak about this topic. I think he is in an outstanding condition, he works a lot additionally, and I think it's important for him that he feels trust and is crucial to our game. He knows there is a lot of competition and all these points show he is not far away from being in the form of his life and long may it continue.

DF: Alex is important for us not only on the pitch but also in the dressing room. He is such a role model to the younger players and is not selfish but always there for the whole team. And he is able to dance after some goals!
