I think the cave in on the fallback is the issue with it, otherwise its about as good as can be achieved.
To have a situation where the EU effectively has a veto on whether we can leave the customs union/single market is difficult to swallow. It gives us zero negotiating position on the future relationship. If that ability to leave was even subject to independent arbitration then it may be different but it needs both sides to agree which does amount to a veto. I can;t believe they ever thought they would get that through.
