Right, yesterday I ordered an Ipod, initially attempting to buy off a website called EmpireDirect.co.uk. Now, put my details in, credit card details and came to a page called a VeriSign Security Proceedure. This I failed to pass because it asked for a password I simply didn't know.
So, I went to another site and ordered off there. No problem.
This morning I receive an email from said EmpireDirect.co.uk saying that the product will be delivered tomorrow between 8am-2pm.
I've received no receipt from EmpireDirect.co.uk for this Ipod, which in itself is a breach under the EU's The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No. 2334). This regulation also entitles me to a full refund in 7 days if I send the item back. However, that will cost money (both to send) and I'm not entitled to the initial costs.
So, do I ring and create Merry Hell(c) or do I send it back nice and orderly?
