Ferdinand Was Woeful!

He seems to be one of those players who will get picked regardless-he was sloppy when he had the ball & didn't seem all that keen on winning it back either. Out of position on a number of occasions as well.

And, whilst I rate Beckham as highly as anyone, he doesn't have the same impact as SWP who does what you are meant to do on the right hand side (ie) run at players and make things happen. Beckham drifts about too often. I reckon he'll be a great sweeper one day, but whether he suits where he is now when you consider what the altermatives are, well...
