With the Persimmon boss Jeff Fairburn who quit this week over his 75 million bonus. This is utterly absurd as it's effectively propped up with tax payers money in the form of Help To Buy. Government creates this madcap scheme under the ludicrous guise of helping first time buyers but it's all about appeasing the house builders and their donations to the Tories and maintaining prices. This is why the housing market appears to be the only industry which isn't subjected to normal economic rules of supply/demand/price. Instead keep interest rates artificially low and then subsidise prices. It's dreadful and I suspect would be just the same under Labour.
