Press news in...

We have arrived at Colney Training Ground where Daniel Farke will be speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's game against Millwall at Carrow Road.

-------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Todd Cantwell is looking much better and able to train the last few days. Perhaps not in the starting line-up but he is available for tomorrow. Ivo Pinto is also back.

DF: Timm Klose and Mario Vrancic were a bit doubtful. Timm got hit on his ankle and it was a bit swollen but he was able to train the last few days. I think he can play tomorrow. We were concerned at the beginning of the week about Mario because he had some problems with his leg but he is back training.

DF: We will give it a few more weeks for Grant Hanley because he has been out a long time, but it is good to have him back in team training. Kenny McLean is doing running on the pitch but still has to work on chance of direction. We hope soon after the international break he will be back in team training, but we have to be patient.

DF: If we would have had a midweek game I think Mario and Timm wouldn't have been available. It was also good for Marco Stiepermann to have a proper week of training.
The break should help but it is the same for Millwall and they were also able to prepare for this game. It will be a difficult task.

DF: It was more than deserved for Timm [Klose] to be nominated. His leadership in the dressing room is great and he plays almost without any mistakes. We are really pleased we have Timm and at the moment he is an outstanding player on this level. I'm happy we had no midweek game so we didn't have to go without him.

DF: My joy in football doesn't come from individual awards. We speak in the dressing room so often about how we are not interested in individual goals or appearances, it is all about the success of the team. My most important thing is to make Norwich City happy and the supporters happy. We want to give something back and entertain them and also those who work for this amazing Club and the owners.

DF: I'm just interested in how we play and we were able to be unbelievably successful after the last internaitonal break and we want to make the most important people here happy.

DF: I expect a tough test against Millwall. They had 10 points out of five games in October and were nominated for Manager of the Month. When you judge the performances to win 10 points is brilliant and performance wise they are even better than last season. They are probably the best team in the league in terms of set pieces and it is always difficult to defend this. But we are prepared to be there with a good performance.

DF: We are not full of fear, we are full of respect. I think it will be a difficult task but we know if we bring our game on the pitch, to dominate the game and keep them away from the goal then we are able to win points. We have to make sure we play on the same performance level that we have in the last games.

DF: We had to replace some pretty important and experienced players, but when I judge what happened in the recent weeks we were always there with a good performance. We always have one of the youngest sides in the whole league, we play with the most Academy products, but it's not important.

DF: We have made unbelievable progress and right now we are sitting on top of the table with Leeds and you couldn't expect this. We are convivnced that it's our way and we can be successful with this way. At the moment we are in a good position and hopefully we can go on.

DF: It's always good when you have a busy spell in the league that there is a short break in international break. It's good to calm down for a bit and work on a few basic things before we start preparing for the game in the second week. To be in the sun at this time of year will be nice and to use some different influences and work in different surroundings is good. The schedule we have planned is good and it will be interesting, but my focus on the moment is the next game.

DF: I really appreciate being in this role and helping the Club in this transition period to create something new. I really enjoy coming to Colney each and every day, to work with the team and bring success.

DF: Tom Trybull has been there with top-class performances, but we had to think about who would be in the starting line-up and we wanted Alex Tettey to be there [for the match against Sheffield Wednesday]. We had to have home grown players on the bench and it meant there was no position on the team sheet for Tom, but it felt like a pretty weird situaiton.

DF: One of the toughest jobs is when you have a player and you know he gave everything on the training pitch and deserves to be invovled but you have to tell him he is not involved. The most important thing is that you are honest with the player.
