It’s a received opinion that’s become an accepted truth.

Enough people on here post “we all know Tettey can’t play three games in a week” and it’s like gospel.

I may be wrong and if so I’ll eat humble pie, but I don’t recall the club ever making such an announcement. Maybe they may have made a kind of “we have to look after him” statement (which I don’t think they have), but that’s not anywhere near an admission that we are employing a player who can only play 2/3 of the time. In short, I think it’s bollocks.
