I have mentioned this a while back when I said we could make the top 6. (and was laughed at) My feeling was we actually created more chances at the beginning of the season.

If you look at the 8 league and cup games up to and including the Ipswich game we scored 1.875 goals per game.
In the 12 games since the Ipswich game we have scored 1.66 goals per game, including the 4-0 on Saturday!

Obviously we have conceded more goals at the start of the season but I also contend we got punished for most errors but in our recent run we have had the rub of the green.
I don't deny that Zimmerman, Klose and the form of the FBs has greatly improved how solid we are as a unit.

There is a saying in sports betting analysis that a team is never as good or as bad as you think they are.

Meaning when on a bad run they are never that bad and will not get the PPG over the whole season.

Over the past 10 League games we are 8-1-1 or 2.5 PPG.....No team averages that over a season as you would win the league with 115 points......
