I think one of the biggest differences between the Lambert style and Farke is the way

Farke is prepared to experiment with a range of names. Yes of course we have an obligatory Grant. And yes, as a precaution he has a couple of doublerers with Timms and Bens, but generally speaking, he's branched out. It's the new way. It's taken a bit over a season for it to come together, but look how it's working now.

Langbert on the other hand kept to a small range of names. It'll be interesting to see if he still follows this philosophy at Ipswich. (I suspect one of the main reasons for taking Matt Gill with him was to match up with their Matthew Pennington player).
