We have arrived at Colney Training Centre where Daniel Farke will soon be talking to the media ahead of tomorrow's away game against Sheffield Wednesday.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
DF: Todd is not available, we tried everything to have him back tomorrow but he can't travel. He has problems with his hamstring. Marco Stiepermann was back after tonsilitus and has been training with us. He will travel with us and we will make a late decision.
DF: Ivo Pinto took a hit on Tuesday and I had to subsitute him so he is not available. Jamal Lewis is also a concern, I rested him yesterday but we hope he can play. He had some slight problems after the game. Otherwise we are ok, Tom Trybull had to be substituted with some cramps but he is not too bad. Jordan Rhodes cannot play because he is on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.
DF: It is tricky because we also don't have Grant Hanley, Carlton Morris, Aston Oxborough. Sometimes when things come together and you have 10 home-grown players not available it can be tricky. So it could be that some of our younger players will travel with us.
DF: Louis Thompson had surgery on Wednesday. It is a bit too early to judge but it went well. We are looking forward to having him back but we have to be patient.
DF: Kenny McLean is off his crutches now and he is doing some running sessions. Hopefully we can return as soon as possible because he has been out a long time. Grant was with us on the trianing pitch on Wednesday and able to train with the Under-23s today. I expect him to be back after the international break, he may be ready for Millwall but it may be too soon.
DF: It was good to have Teemu Pukki back, he looked sharp and lively and is a good option tomorrow. I was also really pleased with Dennis Srbeny and they are both options for the striker positions tomorrow.
DF: Mario is a good option for us. He is really back in shape. He is a threat and capable to score goals and be there with assists. He is also able to dominate the ball and the rhythm of our game. He can fit several roles.
DF: We travel with respect because we know it's a tough place to go. They had a really good start to the season, and right now they have had three losses in a row. It's a big club, an experienced side and an experienced manager. They made it clear they will focus on defending their own goal and I'm pretty sure they will be desperate and highly motivated to get a result. The history doesn't play an important role for us. We want to be competitive and rebellious again.
DF: One of the big strengths is they have physically strong offensive players. It's important we control their offensive players and keep them as far as possible away from our goal. At the moment all my centre backs are in brilliant shape and I trust them that they are there tomorrow and able to dominate the offensive players.
