Interesting we looked more fluid with Srbenny than Rhodes

There was a lot of discussion when we signed Rhodes about whether he was the right sort of player for our system and having watched a few of our recent games I think the jury is still out on that.

Don’t get me wrong he’s a good bloke, a good finisher and an asset to the squad but I think we do go a bit more route one when he plays and we lose our ability to stretch the opposition defence with the runs in behind that Pukki makes. In fairness, Rhodes hasn’t had Hernandez pace alongside him but I think Pukkis return is very timely and may hopefulky see us up our attacking threat a notch along with the continued improvement in Buendia.

No brained for me that Pukki starts on Saturday if close to fit enough with Hernandez, Stiepermann and Buendia in behind. No point risking Cantwell who could do with a rest anyway. Not saying it will happen on Saturday but when you look at our match stats surely we are going to give someone a hiding soon!
