How terrible. Give me a break. Would rather that than have

21 different languages being spoken in a class of 30 and the teachers have to spend all their time focussing on the kids who can;t speak English very well. At the primary school our kids were originally offered in London the ratio would have been the opposite to what you describe which is ridiculous.

Encouraging awareness of other cultures and diversity in our children is of course a good thing but I can;t stand people sneering at provincial England (or Scotland or Wales for that matter) for being what it is.
