Press news in...

We have arrived at Colney Training Centre where Daniel Farke will soon be speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's Carabao Cup match against Bournemouth.

------------------------------------------------------------

DF: We have to travel without Marco Stiepermann because he is ill, and also Todd Cantwell over-stretched in the last minutes and hurt his hamstring so he is not available and is a major doubt for the Sheffield Wednesday game.
We will also have to make a late decision on Timm Klose and Max Aarons, Emi Buendia seems to be ok. I think all three can travel but we will make a decision after a light session in the morning. When there is a risk to play we won't take this risk.

DF: Teemu Pukki trained for the first time with us on Sunday, and we are tempted for him to travel with us so he is an option to have in the starting line-up. We are pleased to have him back.

DF: Dennis Srbeny knows we have lots of competition, especially on the striker position. Teemu has been delivering with goals and so has Jordan, so it's tough for him. He had a really good 15 minutes when he came in on the last game and looked lively and was producing some good balls. He knows he is not far away and I am pleased to have him.

DF: It's a big game for us, a big challenge and we want to stay successful and be greedy. Each player wants to play and is looking forward to it. So it's up to me to be smart on our starting line-up.

DF: It is one of the toughest draws, perhaps Bournemouth is not the biggest name in the country but we are full of respect and big compliments to Eddie [Howe]. We know that we are not the favourite in this game, and it's an away game with long travel, but we will be rebellious and try to get the best result we can get.

DF: I think they are aware that we are in good form so they will be pretty respectful, so there is no chance they will be less focussed. It's the fourth round of the Carabao Cup so they know it is a good chance for them to be in the last eight. It's a big task but we are looking forward to having this task.

DF: We are dangerous. You can't deny our really good form, we are in the top position in the moment in the Championship and we are on a good run with many, many wins. But his [Eddie Howe] team have had a good run and are on fire as well.

DF: On the one hand it's a big chance for us to be there with another statement and another big performance and work more on our self-confidence. And when you have a chance to be in the last eight teams of the cup you want to use this chance. We want to be there with a strong starting line-up, but without taking any risk of injuries. Of course there will be a few changes, and some are forced. I have to change Stiepermann and Cantwell and Michael McGovern will come in.

DF: Who will take penalites for us is not a big topic because even the best goal-scorers sometimes miss penalties. Perhaps some of the other lads will try to do their best to bring the ball over the line, but there will also be a time when Jordan [Rhodes] will be taking another penalty and I'm pretty sure he will be there and score.
