We're in position at Colney awaiting the City boss...

---------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Louis feels much better. He was in a lot of pain. He needs to see a specialist on Monday. He could be back within four weeks. His ligament isn't damaged. We are all hoping that we can deal with this in a conservative way.

DF: It's a bit too early for Teemu for the weekend. He could be a topic for the Cup game on Tuesday.

DF: Tom Trybull got a hit on his toe but he's okay. Max also with slight problems but they both should be fine for tomorrow.

DF: It's always good to have options. I was pleased for Tom on Tuesday, he faced a quality side. He played really well. I'm pleased that he got some minutes. We have lots of important games coming up so I'm pleased that Alex is coming back.

DF: Ben and Ivo aren't out of my thoughts. Max has been played unbelievably well so that's why Ivo hasn't been involved. Ben has been ill but he's been back in training recently so he's an option for tomorrow.

DF: For tomorrow, we shouldn't expect too many changes but we could see a few for the Cup game.

DF: We've had one day more to rest than Brentford. But I've said to the players, tomorrow will be our toughest game in recent weeks. Brentford, at the beginning of the season, played some of the best football in the league.

DF: Their form has slipped away in recent weeks but it's fine margins. They've been unlucky recently. Dean Smith's philosophy is still there.

DF: [Chris] Mepham will come back for them in this game. They will be there with a good performance. They can be outstanding. Maupay and Watkins are also good players.
This will be the toughest game in recent weeks.

DF: We have to be more effective in using our chances. Brentford will be good defensively and they have so many different threats.

DF: Some teams will see coming to us as a difficult task at the moment but that could mean their players are even more motivated.

DF: Big compliments to Emi. He's had to adapt during our competitive games and that's not so easy. His work-rate is brilliant. He was crucial in our last game and has made several assists recently. But he can still improve. We know he can add some goals to his game.

DF: Moritz has been crucial in recent weeks. He was struggling a bit with his form in pre-season and the start of this season. He's had a difficult couple of years but he's been desperate to be back in good shape. He's very natural. The ball belongs to him. He's breaking records for us, running 14km in some games. His touch and ability to dominate the rhythm of the game is outstanding. Long may it continue.

DF: I don't look so much what happens near to us. He [Paul Hurst] has done well in recent seasons so you feel for him. I'm pretty sure he will bounce back. He will have a good future because he's a really good coach.

That's all from Daniel Farke. Much more to come at canaries.co.uk and our social channels ahead of tomorrow's game.
