BWOD, just seen your post from last night and that was a MEAN TRICK

That's like going back SIX YEARS to find the drunken tearful texts you sent your friends in the middle of a messy break-up and suggesting that you should still feel the same way.

Well I don't feel the same way in 2018 as I did in 2012. I may have been in the "anger" stage of Kubler-Ross in 2012 but now I've reached "acceptance". I've stopped binge-eating ice-cream while compulsively watching Sex in the City DVDs and sobbing into my onesie. From acceptance I can safely acknowledge that Lambert was a guy who did an absolutely brilliant job for us, gave me some of the best ever moments in my many decades as a supporter, and is a club legend. He got us playing muscular, gutsy, sexy, passionate, throbbing (oo-er) football filled with self-belief; he got Carrow Road rocking and buzzing like it hadn't done since the Barbour revolution; he squeezed the very last drop of juice out of his squad; he instilled "don't get f**king beat" into his teams; he was a legend.

In the end he spurned us and that was hard, but it was six years ago and now that passions have cooled I can really appreciate his place in our history.
