Wanting City to lose

is, as I first posted about three weeks ago, very much against any true fan's heartfelt feelings BUT perhaps the right feeling at the moment when the long-term future is considered.

I was slagged off by some, and even called a 'scummer', to which I object, but now I see some (including Dof Y) posters lower down are sharing my sentiments.

May I say that when I suggested it (three or four games ago) there was still a hope that if a new man came in and gave the squad some shape and desire we might still have had something to play for? Now it's definitely too late.

For God's sake Worthington's clutching at straws isn't he if he says our season now is all about getting Green on the plane so he can sit on benches all over Germany?! Do you think he and Delia sit down and think 'Now how can we put some sort of positive spin on things since we have got absolutely nothing left to play for?' It really is a bloody insult!

I'm getting angry now and the goodwill I had towards Worthington and the board is being eroded very quickly. If they're not careful we will lll forget the good things they've done. You know I really think it could get quite nasty if we keep getting this kind of rubbish and the stuff Skipper has come out with.

So...although I clearly don't want relegation ..yes I think I want us to lose consistently until he shows that he has at least a little self-respect and resigns. And he shouldn't let ANYONE talk him out of it!!!

It's Martin Allen for me!
