Not literally, otherwise he would be going to prison for perhaps more serious crimes.

But seriously, the Libertines, and now Babyshambles albums have really been an inspiration to me. The music is superb, the lyrics are complexed, at time dark and at times funny. There hasn't been such a quintessentially 'British' band as the Libertines for a long, long time and I think in the long run their albums (particularly the first one) will go down as classics.

Thats not to say that Pete isn't an idiot for wsting his talent on drugs and all that s**t. He has been offered so much help and leeway, he just seemsincapable of accepting it. Prison, and much bumming for him
