The trouble with the player ratings is two-fold.

Firstly, I don't know where to start. Thorne would get a 1, as would Etuhu and Robinson, Fleming maybe 6, everyone else 3 or something.

The other problem was the sun - it made it hard to tell who was playing well and who wasn't. I could tell where the ball was, and what was happening in the game, but if I looked up too often to spot the man I'd have damaged my retinas. Still, thirty pounds ...
