* Replaced my Young Persons' Railcard, which expires this week

* Bought the Sergei Eisenstein DVD box set, which features three of the greatest films ever made

* Gone to see Lewes playing honest football with a group of friends, then gone for some food, and gone out in the evening on the south coast

* Gone to Soho on the train (?10 with my Young Persons' Railcard) and spent the evening with a cheap whore

* Gone to the Royal Albert Hall to see the opera

* Paid this month's bank loan repayment

* Gone to see Crystal Palace v Norwich.
