I'd totally agree with that, but I thought Cancun and Riveriera maya was nowhere near as

nice as other parts of the country. Southern Oaxaca for example is absolutely magnificent and has shedloads of culture and amazing food too - Huatulco, Puerto Angle, Zipolite, Puerto Escondido.

Spent some very very happy times in that part of the world
