Personally i thought it was great, really enjoyed it, but it is slow paced

This allows for some very rich character development and story telling, but if the pace isnt for you then don't really expect it to change much as you progress.

I've recently just started GoT (half way through S2) and GoT vs BCS is chalk and cheese. But really enjoying that too.
