is a new owner that will spend big money.
The reality is that footy investors now are primarily (with one or two very rare exceptions) people who want a return and who are not used to listening to others.
So, Vincent Tan & Allem (two examples) were great, for a while - then they started wanting to do things their way and are still grimly holding onto the purse strings with little prospect of change (BTW, for all those fans of Fans' Trust and the like, have a look at the 'minor' cockup managed by the Cardiff lot - User Posted Link - and then ask if you want this kind of amateurism at Board level?)
I am OK with where we are because the alternative could be MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH worse. And, let's face it, if fans of Stoke & Soton & Everton can be so agitated about the state of their respective clubs, then is footy happiness actually achievable for more than a very small percentage?
And PS, let's say Delia has spent about 10% of her total wealth on NCFC. That is a commitment that very few would make, and gives her - IMO - a certain leeway.
with apologies to thebigidiot
