There's a clanging noise coming from the roof. A sort of repeated banging. (Insert rude joke here). Much worse when it's windy. Potentially keeping the CJ's awake at night. You can hear it coming down the chimney into the fireplace.
From the ground I can see an old TV aerial flapping about a bit.
Can also see a few chimney pots that are maybe horizontal.
Can't really hazard any sort of informed guess as to what the cause might be.
One thing for certain is that I'm sure as hell not going up there.
What sort of more competent expertise should I summon to have a look at it? Is this one for a roofer? An aerial bod? A builder? Baker? Candlestick maker?
Any advice gratefully received.
