it wouldn't be a surprise

what with the authorities constantly devaluing the league cup by constantly f**king around with the format and making it an irrelevance, it would be unsurprising if they tried to 'spice it up' somehow.

However, if that's true then what they fail to realise is that it's dull to see the same teams competing and winning the cup, although I suppose a lot of foreign viewers don't care that they're watching 50% reserve teams.
Either way it looks to be on the decline as a competition and probably won't exist for much longer
