Mixture of massive pride and simmering anger

At the end of the day our creaking squad probably does not need the burden of more games. I'm already worried at how the last two games will take a toll on us in the two big home games we have coming up. Arsenal are probably one of the fastest, athletic teams you can face and we don't have the luxury of being able to put out two teams like they do.

In the circumstances I thought we were magnificent tonight. We don't quite have their athleticism but what we do have if a bunch of technical gifted players who matched them for ling spells and who, had they taken their chances and not come up against the biggest c**t of a ref I've seen in a long time could and possibly should have won that game. Even after they went two one up and I thought they might opennus up and score 4 or 5 we came back into it and could have taken it to pens.

He is the cause of the anger. Let them leave their foot in all night, didn't book them for several cynical tackles and I thought it was an obvious red and a cheat penalty. Utter c**t.

Thought Reed was excellent, all the defence great, Madders class again and Stiepermann good when he came on as well. Nelson was hit and miss but his more intelligent play adds an extra dimension to our attacking game and thankfully Wes looks back to something approaching his best. All in all very proud and confident for the rest of the season although slightly fearful about what sort of side we can cobble together for the next two games.
