The new system after the game is laughably bad

They had it nailed down prev iously when they used to hold us back a few minutes and then basically close off the road back to the station whilst we were escorted up it.

Yesterday, despite a system that appeared to be designed to make the sc*m fans go around the other side of the game it was chaos. Two sides segregated by barriers for about 200 yards and then both sets of fans just mixed in together all the way up the road to the station. all of their "lads" were just in the middle of the road and every 20 metres or so a scuffle would break out and the police would rush in. By the end nobody knew who was who either so fans were squaring up to each other before realising they supported the same team.

All in all it was a bit of a miracle that it did not kick off massively because it had potential to and with some other sets of fans there would have been a full on riot. As it was it made me laugh that having basically been mixed in with us all the way back up to the station and not done much apart from a load of posturing their fans then all started going mental and trying to break through once there was a big line of police outside the station.

The decade of defeats has definitely hurt them though. you can see the anger/hatred in their faces whereas we were mostly just laughing at them.
