Largely because Stiepermann seemed to think he was playing central midfield rather than left back so there was a huge gap down the left. Once we worked that out I thought we completely bossed it from minutes 15- 35. They then had a good 10 minutes at the end of the half when we got sloppy.
Their two good chances (post and mcgoldrick header) came from two laughably bad refereeing decisions. When they had the ball in open play they were slow and predictable and didn't really look threatening.
During the middle section of the half we created at least 3 or 4 good opportunities via Wildshutt who they couldn't cope with until he tired a bit. The end shots were weak but these were decebt chances, we also had one when Pinto got in down the right.
I'm not saying we completely bossed the first half and arguably McGoldricks chance was the best (although it was never, ever a free kick) but it was certainly even and they at no point looked the better side.
