Grudgingly, I warmed to Mick McCarthey in his post-match assessment.

Ipswich really tried, as best as they were capable, and created chances but they missed them. We, "a decent team", showed quality when it mattered and defended compactly. In the second half, once we scored we always looked comfortable. Fine margins, but in the end the better footballing team prevailed. Just hoping that Nelson gets fit soon.
