I get the frustration with the sense of entitlement but don’t you think we are being a

little harsh on the shirt and trousers story?

From what I understand now, the poor chap seems to have spent money which is significant to him, let alone a lot of stress and bad feeling (this part possibly about the entitlement) which was entirely unnecessary all due to a language issue.

Is there nobody in Norwich who could help him clarify 1) when and why he is meant to go to the board room, 2) is this the ncfc boardroom or was it meant to be the lynn boardroom (the advice seems to have come from Lovejoy rather than ncfc brass) and 3) what the dress rules actually are and whether they couldn’t relax them for one visit?

Feels to me that it could be many misunderstandings. Lovejoy May well have been joking.

And finally if he needs a shirt and trousers and still wants to go to the ncfc board room for some reason, help him find one?

Just feels a little harsh.
