get a say in the choice of manufacturer. But have to say it is of extremely high quality.

That is a particular reason to boycott of course. However, we can find a reason to boycott most major sports brands. Nike for sweatshops (not sure if that is solved yet) and sexism, Adidas for bribery, both the latter for the way they monetise school sports in the US. Reebok possibly the least boycottable.
