Couple of observations

When they finished the final competitive stage in Marseille last year, there were moans about the overnight transit to Paris. This year it looks like they've picked the further place possible.

Annecy seems to get some action almost every other year. I know it's at the start of a mountain stage and there are only so many mountains... but most towns would, I presme, be lucky to get a stage once in a generation.
