Shall I change it with a Larry type tale from last night?

Was at a party and an old friend's partner introduced herself to me. I asked her where she was from, she said guess and I said "I really don't want to make a fool of myself by doing that"

She said she was Russian, and quite proud of it. I said "from Russia itself or Russian from the Baltics?

She proudly stated she was Russian but grinned at me and was overly friendly with me for the rest of the night

I looked on my mate's facebook later and found out she's Latvian. When I said I didn't want to make a fool of myself, I meant I didn't want to be the usual knob that assumes anyone European in the UK is Polish. I think it surprised her that I know some people from the Baltics refuse to accept independence (or the parents didn't) and still say they are Russian

The end

That should do it
