mach what the Tories (and the Labour gov was complicit in some of these) have done to education, the NHS, the railways, the Civil Service, local authorities and just about every other f**king thing they've touched. On the economy, the government's focus should always be on growing the economy, so the debt becomes less of an issue. Governments since the 1970's union shambles have largely backed away from not just direct involvement in industry, but any overall strategy, either because of ideology or their own short term political interest. Contrast with the German government.
I don't trust Corbyn because of his response to what's happening in Venezuela, and I hope that bandwagon stops fairly abruptly. On the economy he's starting to sound like a left-wing Trump - selling Utopia to the gullible.
