Former monastry turned into a restaurant that brews it's own bears get there early or queue up. Also, if you like steak then try the Cafe de Sao Bento very quirky place it's like being in an Edwardian gentlemen's club it's one of those places that you have to knock the door and then they size you up to see if they can be arsed to let you in I love little places like that, if they let me in. For lunch visit the Mercado da Ribeira the main food market in Lisbon, it's easy to spend a couple of hours in there some lovely food stalls and cafes and restauarants. Loads of great bars, didn't do anyfink cultural as have only been there on work trips with bloody blokes.
