The ACN interviews

I always enjoy the ACN interviews with an opposition fan, it's interesting to get a perspective on how they see their team (and ours!).

The one with the Blades fan last week User Posted Link makes good reading even after the event. He explained how their real strength came from their wing backs - well, we nullified their threat down the flanks and they just didn't know what to do instead.

Reading his 4th reason for their early success is also amusing in hindsight - "Being underestimated". "the likes of Brentford, Derby, Sunderland and even Bolton on Tuesday night have all thought "we should win this one" and haven't. It often amazes me how we are a bad side in the opinion of football fans of teams we have just beat." I suspect that that was just what happened in reverse - they thought "we should win this", and when they didn't their fans can't say too much about what a s**t team we are!

Anyway, I think ACN should try to do a "before and after" interview - it would be very interesting to hear after the match from the sort of intelligent and well-informed fan who talks to ACN what they thought of us.
